Job Title
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide personalized support to students with Special Educational Needs.
Salary Information
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £85 per day, commensurate with experience.
About the Role
This is a full-time position working 8:30 am - 4 pm, Monday to Friday, during term time only. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year's experience working in a classroom setting with SEN students in the UK. You will also need to hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized support to students with SEN needs.
- Assist teachers in planning and implementing lesson plans.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies for supporting students with SEN.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year classroom SEN experience in the UK.
- Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service.
- Able to commit to working full-time, Monday to Friday, during term time only.
