Software Engineering Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Team Lead to join our team in Bristol, working for a leading player in the Aerospace and Defence industry.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of software engineers and work on cutting-edge programmes of work across various projects, including Eurofighter Typhoons, Aircraft Simulators, and F35 Fighter Jets.

As a Software Engineering Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing a team of software engineers, supporting and promoting development, and ensuring the completion of allocated requirements, design, and implementation tasks to a high standard and within schedule and estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Software development of solutions
  • Testing of completed functionality
  • Adherence to project processes and software development practices
  • C# and C++ programming skills
  • Understanding of full software lifecycles
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment, preferably in the Aircraft or Defence sector
