We are seeking a highly capable Senior HR Advisor to join our fast-paced OD & HR team on a fixed-term contract until August. This role will provide professional and comprehensive HR expertise, supporting Directorates and Services in developing effective people-focused outcomes.

The successful candidate will have HR experience of supporting employee relations casework and managing their own workload effectively. They will demonstrate influencing and negotiation skills, as well as a thorough understanding of up-to-date employment legislation and best practice people management.

We are currently developing our People Strategy, and this role will work collaboratively across the OD & HR service to support its delivery throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will enhance colleague experience and further embed our 'One Council' approach.

This exciting opportunity comes with an estimated salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as days annual leave increasing with length of service, flexible working, and access to a range of benefits in terms of reward and recognition, wellbeing, and development.
