Colt Technology Services seeks a highly skilled Data Centre Design Expert to join their Central Design & Engineering team.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and coordinating the construction of our data centres. Working closely with clients, stakeholders, and project teams, you will ensure that our data centres are designed and built to exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the architectural design of data centres, ensuring adherence to global design standards and guidelines.

Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to understand new project requirements and restrictions, to translate them into innovative design solutions.

Manage the design process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

Prepare architectural drawings, specifications, and other project documentation.

Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless execution and adherence to project timelines and budgets.

Conduct site visits and inspections to verify construction compliance with design specifications and quality standards.

Review and assess project progress, making necessary adjustments to plans when required.

Collaborate in internal projects to review and improve global design standards and branding.

Analyse project's metrics to ensure the efficiency of each design.

Requirements

A qualified Architect, registered with RIBA, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in data centre design and construction.

In-depth knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations governing data centre design and construction.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM360 and other relevant design software.

Excellent communication and project management skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Flexibility to travel to project sites as required.

Salary Information

We offer an estimated annual salary of £80,000 - £100,000 depending on experience.
