Job Summary

CBRE is seeking a highly skilled Data Centre Operations Expert to join our Central Technical / Centre Of Excellence (COE) Data Centre Team. As an expert adviser, you will provide technical solutions and guidance on mechanical, electrical, and energy efficiencies within the design, planning, installation, testing, commissioning, and operational phases of Data Centre Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 24/7 technical support to clients
  • Deliver innovative technical solutions to maintain long-term profitability
  • Review plant and system performance, highlighting solutions and progressing Continuous Improvement and appropriate benchmarking programmes
  • Provide emergency support and response, and carry out technical reviews of Data Centre critical services teams
  • Support the development of Data Centre Risk assessments and Asset Management Plans
  • Implement appropriate Change control processes and support method statement approval for Data Centres

Requirements

  • At least 7-10 years' experience in senior roles in Critical Services operations, design, testing, and commissioning
  • Experience and knowledge of Data Centre Commissioning and Testing processes and procedures
  • Knowledge and experience of Data Centre Load and Airflow Management
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
  • Flexible approach and a sense of teamwork essential
  • Advanced people/relationship management skills and ability to communicate at all levels
