About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Gardener to join our team at Fortus Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and gardens of our clients in the Epping region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the grounds and gardens of our clients, including mowing, pruning, and planting.
  • Operate and maintain various grounds maintenance equipment, including ride-on mowers and strimmers.
  • Work effectively as part of a small team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Work in a timely and efficient manner, with minimal supervision.
Requirements
  • A good standard of education (GCSEs) and relevant experience in grounds maintenance.
  • Knowledge of basic IT skills, including email and mobile phone usage.
  • Previous experience with general grounds maintenance, including the safe use and operation of pedestrian mowing equipment, strimmers, and hand tools.
  • Some evidence of soft landscaping skills, such as planting.
  • Maintenance and operation of a Ransomes Highway 3 or similar ride-on mowing equipment.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary between £23,000 to £24,500 per annum.
  • A performance-related cash bonus of up to 15% of salary.
  • Pension scheme contributions set at 7% of salary.
  • Life Insurance cover at 4 x annual salary.

  • 25 days per year holiday, plus bank holidays.
