Strategic Digital Transformation Director

This is an exciting opportunity to lead digital transformation across three neighbouring NHS provider Trusts. The postholder will report to the nominated digital leads from CLCH, WL and CNWL, who share responsibility for digital strategy in their respective organisations.

The role will oversee the delivery portfolio for digital on behalf of the provider collaborative, unifying key digital health and transformation opportunities across the three Trusts. The postholder will take an overarching responsibility on collaboration across the Trusts, supporting delivery of strategic priorities and bringing together new opportunities for consideration.

The postholder will work with the Digital Leadership team across CLCH, WL and CNWL to develop and enhance digital programmes that support the Trusts' strategies and long-term plan commitments.

The role requires a senior manager with recent experience at a high level, responsible for delivering programmes and managing clinical operations in complex provider health care settings. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering whole system programmes to achieve national and local plans, and experience of working across professional boundaries.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and implementing new ways of working using digital and data to optimise the health and care experience
  2. Leading on collaboration across the Trusts, supporting delivery of strategic priorities and bringing together new opportunities for consideration
  3. Working with the Digital Leadership team to develop and enhance digital programmes that support the Trusts' strategies and long-term plan commitments
  4. Playing an important role in building and managing external relationships across the ICS and Place Based footprints

The postholder will be expected to provide visible leadership, be driven by data and promote high standards, modelling the values and behaviours expected of a senior manager in the NHS.

The ideal candidate will be highly numerate and have high-level analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of working with patients, service users and carers. They will also be flexible and adaptable, able to work under pressure and manage a range of responsibilities at the same time.
