Commercial Product Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled Commercial Product Manager to lead our menswear buying team at dSb Recruitment Consultancy Ltd. The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial product management and will be responsible for delivering commercial product strategies.

About the Role:

  • Lead the development of the company's three-year product, brand, and category strategy in collaboration with the Head of Buying.
  • Create seasonal category and brand buying strategies with the merchandising team, focusing on market trends and revenue maximization.
  • Develop and implement own-brand product strategies and ranges, aligning with group design and sourcing teams.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to optimize terms and brand partnerships.
  • Present regular updates on long-term brand plans and seasonal product learnings to the Head of Buying.
  • Foster a high-performing team and ensure the buying critical path is effectively managed through task delegation.
  • Align team understanding of company objectives and strategy, holding team members accountable for delivery.
  • Analyze weekly trading performance and KPIs with Merchandisers, providing actionable insights.
  • Conduct store visits to ensure adherence to the 'go-to-market' strategy and successful collection launches.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a commercial product manager in a premium menswear context.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and market awareness.
  • Strong leadership abilities, ideally with experience in setting development plans.

Estimated Salary: £62,500 - £67,500 per annum
