About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Director to join our team. As an integral part of our leadership, you will be responsible for driving trade activity and maximizing profit in our stores.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop and sustain Store Change Plan and resource planned activities, ensuring that hours are worked when and where they would most benefit customers.

As an Operations Director, your primary focus will be on leading and building your managers' knowledge to deliver results, while also identifying and resolving root cause issues with sustainable solutions.

In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you will also be expected to coach your team to provide a safer place to work, focusing on the safety of your colleagues as their top priority.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and train top talent for your team, developing their operational and leadership skills to deliver exceptional results.
  • Coach your team to build brand awareness and provide customers with the right range, quality, and service, ensuring repeat business.
  • Lead and drive trade activity, utilizing expertise and knowledge to grow sales and maximize profit.
  • Develop and sustain Store Change Plan and resource planned activities, identifying and resolving root cause issues with sustainable solutions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to share knowledge and best practices with your team. You should have a natural welcoming demeanor with customers, putting them at the heart of everything you do.

You should be a great communicator, able to work collaboratively with your team to deliver results. Your ability to listen and understand others is essential, building strong relationships with colleagues and customers alike.

As an Operations Director, you will need to utilize your energy and resilience to keep momentum going in challenging environments. You must own decision-making for the store, acting quickly to make decisions based on what's right for customers and colleagues.

Absolutely necessary is the ability to consistently be at your best, inspiring confidence in those around you. Additionally, being aware of competitors' actions and always looking for ways to improve the store for customers is key to success in this role.
