Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Bank Chef to join our team at Hd6. As a Regional Bank Chef, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality culinary experiences to our residents and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, ensuring seamless operations and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Work with fresh produce to create innovative and wholesome dishes that meet the highest culinary standards.
- Lead and motivate a team of chefs to achieve exceptional results and maintain a positive work environment.
- Manage stock control, inventory, and budget to optimize kitchen efficiency and minimize waste.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas, recipes, and culinary concepts.
Requirements:
- City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent culinary qualification.
- Proven experience in leading and inspiring a team of chefs in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent understanding of nutrition, food safety, and HACCP principles.
- Ability to create a warm and welcoming environment within our home, ensuring residents feel valued and cared for.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, residents, and external partners.
