Job Description

**Job Title:** Learning Support Assistant - Secondary School

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a motivated and passionate graduate to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant in a fantastic, high-achieving Secondary School. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide 1:1 and small group support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN/SEMH needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
  • Assist class teachers in delivering lessons in Maths, English, and other subjects.
  • Support pupils across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized learning plans.

**Requirements:**

  • Graduate with strong academic qualifications.
  • Compassionate individual with a positive attitude and a passion for education.
  • Experience working with children and young people, including those with SEN/SEMH needs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
