Job Title: Adult Clinical Lead

As a key member of the Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients in the Geriatrics Clinical Group. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and mentor a team of experienced nurses, contributing to the development and implementation of innovative clinical practices and education.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor the Band 7 team, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
  2. Clinical Practice and Education: Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative clinical practices and education, enhancing service delivery and efficiency.
  3. Strategic Role: Play a strategic role in enhancing service delivery and efficiency, working closely with the Clinical Director and General Manager to achieve the Trust's strategic objectives.

About the Role:

This is a senior nursing role providing leadership and direction to nursing staff in Geriatrics across Queen's and King George Hospitals, and other satellite sites. The post holder will work in a directorate triumvirate with the Clinical Director and the General Manager, with a particular focus on providing high-quality, safe, well-governed, productive, and cost-effective services that support the Trust in delivering its strategic objectives.
