Cook Position

We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at Peartree Private School. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our students and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook hot and cold meals, as well as deli grab & go items such as sandwiches, wraps, salads, and fruit pots.
  • Serve on the hot counter at breakfast and lunchtime, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of food safety.
  • Assist with stock takes, ordering, and storing deliveries, as well as performing daily and weekly deep cleans of the unit.
Requirements
  • You must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years and have the legal right to work.
  • You must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
Compensation and Benefits

This is a part-time temporary position working approximately 30 hours per week, Monday - Friday, term time only. The hourly rate is £13. You will also receive free meals on duty and on-site parking.
