Data Analysis Specialist

Hass F1 Team is a leading American-owned team in the Formula 1 grid, with a presence in Netflix. We are seeking an experienced Data Analysis Specialist to join our team.
Job Summary:
This role involves working closely with the Head of Performance Engineering to develop and implement data analysis strategies for pre-event simulations, in-event support, and post-race analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, numerical and statistical methodologies, and experience with tools like ATLAS and SBG RaceWatch.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain data analysis tools and methods to support performance engineering efforts
• Conduct competitor analysis and provide insights to aid other departments
• Collaborate with the strategy group to improve existing tools and develop new ones
• Perform numerical and statistical analysis of data to inform decision-making
• Research and implement new analysis methodologies, software tools, and techniques
• Assist with pitstop analysis and provide detailed feedback to the pit crew
Requirements:
• Master's or PhD degree in a STEM discipline
• Experience in data analysis, numerical and statistical methodologies, and their applications
• Familiarity with programming languages (MATLAB, Python, C#)
• Experience with databases and data management
• Strong understanding of vehicle and tyre performance
Estimated Salary:
$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
