Role Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Data Analyst to join our team at Haas F1 Team, based in Banbury, UK. This exciting opportunity involves working closely with the Head of Performance Engineering and will provide the ideal candidate with a unique chance to apply their analytical skills in a high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre-event simulations and reports, as well as in-event support and post-race analysis.
  • Competitor Analysis during a race weekend and between events, collaborating with other departments if applicable.
  • Improving existing tools and directing the strategy group's development.
  • Numerical and Statistical analysis of data.
  • Researching and implementing new analysis methodologies, software tools, and techniques for future developments.
  • Assisting with pitstop analysis (both competitor and team), analyzing data, and providing detailed feedback to the pit crew.
Requirements:
  • A Master's or PhD level degree in a STEM discipline.
  • Experience in data analysis, numerical, and statistical methodologies and their applications.
  • Experience with data analysis using ATLAS is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle & tyre performance.
  • A can-do positive approach and willingness to help others is essential.
Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is £65,000 - £80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
