Job Description

A passionate and experienced Learning Assistant is required to join our team at a reputable Secondary school in Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

You will be working on a small group basis with pupils who require additional support, helping them achieve their academic potential. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess excellent interpersonal skills. You will be able to work effectively as part of a team, providing individualized support to students and contributing to their progress.

About the Role

This is a long-term full-time position, potentially leading to a permanent contract. You will be responsible for assisting teachers in supporting students with SEND, providing individualized support to students in KS3 & 4, and working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure students receive the best possible education. The school offers an excellent rate of pay and opportunities for professional development through Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs.
