Cleaning Operative

Job Overview:
As a Cleaning Operative at HotelCare, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene standards of various branded Public Houses environments. This role involves a mix of routine and deep cleaning tasks, maintaining public areas, toilets, and other designated areas to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- To report for work in correct uniform, non-slippery shoes and ready to start work on time.
- Arrive punctually and adhere to the designated early morning schedule.
- To use company clocking in/out system when starting and finishing work and taking breaks.
- Perform assigned tasks and duties independently with no supervision.
- Clean and sanitise toilets, bar areas, and public spaces.
- Handle and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the early morning shift.
- Ensure all assigned tasks are completed accurately and efficiently by the end of the shift.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and efficiently.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with client staff to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
- Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and request orders when necessary.
Person Specification:
Experience:
- Previous experience in a cleaning role, preferably within the hospitality.
- Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and best practices.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- The ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Strong time management skills.
