Commercial Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join a major modular construction company in East Yorkshire.
This is a key role that involves managing a commercial team to deliver on post-delivery commercial contracts for rental modular buildings.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cash flow, maximizing margins, and delivering final accounts.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of commercial staff to ensure the successful delivery of commercial contracts.
- Develop and train the team to provide career advancement and deliver successful financial outcomes.
- Ensure payment plans are in place and adhered to to maintain cash flow.
- Negotiate financial accounts and resolve disputes.
- Regularly review and manage risks and mitigations.
- Ensure costs and margins are closely measured on each project.
- Attend client meetings to ensure the appropriate resources and payment plans are in place.
- Commercial management experience with a Quantity Surveying background.
- Degree qualification in a commercial or equivalent subject.
- Strong people management skills and experience.
- Good communication and customer-facing skills.
- A good understanding of the construction industry and contracts.
