As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Buying Team and Product Process Development Manager in driving the delivery of product quality for all Iceland own brand products.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Buying Team in sourcing and evaluating new products, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and safety.
- Assist the Product Process Development Manager in developing and implementing new product recipes, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and meet customer expectations.
- Conduct regular product sampling and testing, providing feedback to the Buying Team and Product Process Development Manager.
- Maintain accurate records of product samples, including receipt, storage, and disposal.
- Ensure the Iceland Kitchen and facilities are always clean, organized, and meet health and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in the food industry or a related field.
- Knowledge of food safety legislation and HACCP principles.
- Basic food hygiene certification.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
