About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and cooking processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry in food deliveries and store them correctly.
  • Clean ovens, dishes, pans, and other equipment to maintain a high standard of hygiene.
  • Ensure the floor is clean and kitchen waste and rubbish are disposed of correctly.
  • Check sell-by dates and rotate stock to prevent waste and maintain quality.
  • Operate the till system to take orders and process payments.
  • Prepare and serve hot drinks and sandwiches to customers.
  • Update delivery platforms to ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as a strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications and Skills

  • GCSE Grade G or above in Maths and English or equivalent in Essential Skills certificates.
  • Conscientious and dedicated individual with a passion for delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.

Training and Development
