About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry in food deliveries and store them correctly.
  • Clean ovens, dishes, pans, and other equipment to maintain a high standard of hygiene.
  • Ensure the floor is clean and kitchen waste and rubbish are disposed of correctly.
  • Check sell-by dates and rotate stock to prevent waste and maintain quality.
  • Operate the till system to take orders and process payments.
  • Prepare and serve hot drinks and sandwiches to customers.
  • Update delivery platforms to ensure accurate and timely information.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as a strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications and Skills

  • GCSE Grade G or above in Maths and English or equivalent in Essential Skills certificates.
  • Conscientious and dedicated individual with a passion for delivering high-quality service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.
