Health Physics Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Health Physics Specialist to join our team at Scantec Personnel Limited. As a Health Physics Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting radiological surveys and analyses, air sampling, and providing support for demolition and remediation projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct radiological surveys and analyses to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Perform air sampling to monitor radiation levels
- Provide support for demolition and remediation projects, including HP monitor support
- Carry out routine Health Physics tasks, including clearance monitoring, decontamination of areas, items, and personnel
- Hinkley Point A
- Berkeley
- Winfrith
- Chapelcross
- NVQ Level 2 in Radiation Protection or City & Guilds - Radiation Safety Practices
- ONC/HNC or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- Membership of an appropriate technical/professional body
- Level 2 Health & Safety in the Workplace or equivalent
