About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care and Support Worker to join our team at Southern Housing. As a Care and Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents and service users.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Deliver personalised care and support to residents and service users, as identified in their individual care plans.
  2. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless care and support services.
  3. Summon professional assistance in emergency situations.
  4. Practice in accordance with the Care Quality Commission standards, ensuring residents have up-to-date care plans and risk assessments.

Requirements

  1. Hold 5 GCSE passes at grade 'C' or above (or equivalent Grade 9-5) including Maths and English.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Good written communication and numeracy skills.
  4. Basic IT skills.
  5. Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  6. Able to work both as part of a team and independently.
  7. Knowledge of personal boundaries.
  8. Understanding of the requirements of CQC.
