Job Title: Ledger Processing Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Ledger Processing Assistant to support our finance operation. The successful candidate will have experience in processing purchase ledger invoices and managing payment runs through Sage and the bank.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase ledger invoices onto the system, accurately coding to the nominal ledger.
  • Manage payment runs through Sage and the bank, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Handle ad hoc payment requests, maintaining strong communication with stakeholders.
  • Reconcile monthly credit card statements, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with departments to resolve supplier queries and discrepancies, providing excellent customer service.
  • Enter bank payments and interest charges into Sage, ensuring accurate financial records.

Requirements:

  • Purchase ledger experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
