About the Role

This Assistant Accountant position is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing accountancy team in Northampton, NN7.

Job Description
  1. Prepare and review weekly and monthly management accounts in collaboration with the finance team.
  2. Manage the Sales and Purchase Ledgers, ensuring accurate and timely completion of cashbook transactions, queries, and reconciliations.
  3. Support internal audits for designated depots, guaranteeing adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.
  4. Evaluate and improve financial processes, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  1. Hold relevant accounting qualifications, such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or AAT certification.
  2. Demonstrate proven experience in a similar finance role, showcasing expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  3. Be proficient in using IT systems, particularly Microsoft Excel, to maintain accurate records and produce comprehensive reports.

Compensation Details

The estimated salary for this position is £42,500 - £52,000 per annum, depending on experience.
