Primary SENCO Role in West London

A reputable primary school in West London seeks an experienced SENCO to cover a maternity leave position on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of inclusive practices and lead the special educational needs provision within the school.

About the Role

This is a long-term SENCO position, offering the chance to work with a dedicated team and make a positive impact on the lives of students. We are committed to providing a supportive and collaborative environment that fosters professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the SEN department and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and guidance
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Provide guidance and training to colleagues on SEND policies and procedures
  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to drive forward initiatives and developments
Requirements

To be considered for this SENCO role, you will need:

  • QTS and experience working as a SENCO
  • Leadership experience and ability to coordinate effectively with senior teams
  • Valid DBS or willingness to undergo one
