About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to lead our inclusion and support specialist team at Petts Hill Primary School. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to support students with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to provide comprehensive support to students with SEN.
- Lead training and professional development for staff on SEN best practices.
- A qualified teacher with a strong understanding of special educational needs and experience in leading inclusive education teams.
- A creative thinker who can develop innovative solutions to challenges.
- A team player who is eager to contribute to our school community.
