Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage service.
  • Manage the outlet effectively, overseeing team members, stock, cash handling, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Promote products, understand menu composition, ingredients, allergens, and service styles.
  • Be proficient in key aspects of the till system, including reporting and troubleshooting issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
  • Lead and develop staff, ensuring they are briefed, trained, and coached throughout the shift.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, including health and safety, hygiene, legislation, and employment law.
  • Address customer feedback and complaints, reporting any service or quality issues.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, using initiative to ensure memorable experiences for guests.
  • Manage small teams to serve customers efficiently during peak trading periods.
  • Maintain a clean and ready-for-service environment throughout the day.
  • Oversee cash handling and profit control measures within the concessions unit.

    Requirements

    • Be reliable with a flexible approach to work.
    • Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Manage small groups of staff to ensure smooth unit operations.
    • Take responsibility for staff, stock, and cash handling.
    • Work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Confident, friendly, and personable demeanor.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail.
    • A self-starter with a passion for excellence.
    • Ability to use initiative to resolve problems.
    • Knowledge of licensing law.
    • Previous experience in a similar role.
