About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Head of Maintenance to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing a high level of service to our residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate maintenance activities across multiple sites, ensuring that all work is carried out to a high standard and in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
- Lead and motivate a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments, including facilities, IT, and HR, to ensure seamless integration and effective communication.
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure that maintenance activities are carried out within allocated budgets and to the required quality standards.
