Leek, Staffordshire, United Kingdom NHS Full time

Are you a Podiatrist looking for a new challenge in a dynamic and rewarding environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Podiatrist to join our team at HMP Werrington, working closely with offenders to support their rehabilitation and reintegration into the community.

Main Duties

This role requires the advanced assessment and treatment of patients within the offender healthcare setting who may have complex and/or chronic presentation. You will need to determine clinical diagnosis and clinical treatment, and maintain records as an autonomous practitioner.

With this in mind, you will be HCPC registered with post-registration experience assessing and treating a range of conditions including diabetic patients, wound management, MSK pathologies, and nail surgery.

We are committed to providing a supportive learning environment, with opportunities for professional development and career growth. You will be part of a forward-thinking, innovative healthcare team, delivering high-quality, best-practice treatment.

Please note that offers of employment are subject to Practice Plus Group Terms & Conditions and receipt of satisfactory references, an enhanced DBS check, and prison vetting.

Deliver non-judgmental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries. Play an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient's care following our policies, procedures, and always considering safeguarding.

Promote best practice, evidence-based care, and continuous quality improvement, embedding a culture of reflection and shared learning.
