Job Responsibilities:
  • Collect and document user requirements to ensure accurate understanding of business needs.
  • Analyze source systems and data, modeling it in QlikView to meet customer requirements.
  • Design, develop, and test QlikView scripts to import data from source systems and create dashboards that meet customer needs.
  • Interpret business requirements and technical specifications to create technical design documentation.
  • Design analytics visualizations and support design changes through an iterative development process.
  • Perform quality coding to meet business requirements and work directly with business units to define and prototype QlikView applications.
  • Transform and load data from multiple sources into QlikView applications and provide input on proposing, evaluating, and selecting design alternatives.
  • Develop strong knowledge of QlikView server architecture and build DVDs and VWs applying business rules and data validations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Ability to derive technical requirements from business goals and processes, with experience in developing and architecting analytics solutions.
  • Experience in sourcing data from disparate systems, with a good understanding of their data models and ETL procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting, data source integration, and advanced GUI development in QlikView.
  • Full understanding of data quality, data cleansing, and data transformation processes, with the ability to write efficient SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Experience in end-to-end implementation of analytics projects, especially in scorecards, KPIs, reports, and dashboards.
