Job Title: Marine & Logistics Leader

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Marine, Logistics, and Facilities (MLF) management team and manage multiple large-scale Vessel and Facilities contracts. You will be responsible for all logistics-related activities, including port services, and establish appropriate management systems and work processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the MLF management team and manage vessel contracts, warehousing, stores, and logistics.
  • Establish and implement management systems and work processes.
  • Manage logistics requirements in SAP, warehouse, and other systems.
  • Hold responsibility for vessel and aviation contracts, port service agreements, and completion of the O&M base construction.
  • Ensure sufficient vessels and logistics set-up and support for Dogger Bank operations and the Port of Tyne base.
  • Act as the owner of the O&M Base facilities and be responsible for associated facility management.
  • Support Emergency Response Plan and be part of the Incident Commander team.
  • Have the role of Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) and ensure ISPS is implemented.
  • Responsible for spares & material management at site, goods manifesting including dangerous goods.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Logistics, Engineering, or another relevant subject.
  • Significant experience in a similar maritime logistics role, ideally within offshore wind.
  • Extensive management experience of a warehousing and logistics team.
  • Proven experience of developing staff, and effective process and procedures.
  • Familiar with SAP material handling systems.
