Marine Logistics Director

About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Marine Logistics Leader to join our team. As a key member of the Operations and Maintenance leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the Marine, Logistics and Facilities (MLF) management team and managing multiple large-scale Vessel and Facilities contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the MLF management team and manage vessel contracts, warehousing, stores, and logistics.
- Establish and maintain appropriate management systems and work processes.
- Prepare logistics requirements in SAP, warehouse, etc.
- Hold responsibility for vessel and aviation contracts, port service agreements, and facility management.
- Ensure sufficient vessels and logistics set-up and support for Dogger Bank operations and the Port of Tyne base.
- Act as the owner of the O&M Base facilities and be responsible for associated facility management.
- Support Emergency Response Plan and be part of the Incident Commander team.
- Have the role of Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) and ensure ISPS is implemented.
- Responsible for spares & material management at site, goods manifesting including dangerous goods.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Logistics, Engineering, or another relevant subject.
- Significant experience in a similar maritime logistics role, ideally within offshore wind.
- Extensive management experience of a warehousing and logistics team.
- Familiar with SAP material handling systems.
