We are seeking a highly skilled Marine and Logistics Leader to join our team at NRL. As a key member of our Operations and Maintenance leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the Marine, Logistics and Facilities (MLF) management team and managing multiple large-scale Vessel and Facilities contracts.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics activities, including port services, and establishing effective management systems and work processes. You will also be responsible for preparing logistics requirements in SAP, warehouse management, and other relevant systems.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the MLF management team and manage vessel contracts, warehousing, stores, and logistics.
- Establish and maintain effective management systems and work processes.
- Prepare logistics requirements in SAP, warehouse management, and other relevant systems.
- Hold responsibility for vessel and aviation contracts, port service agreements, and facility management.
- Ensure the Dogger Bank operations and Port of Tyne base have sufficient vessels and logistics set-up and support.
- Act as the owner of the O&M Base facilities and be responsible for associated facility management.
- Support Emergency Response Plan and be part of the Incident Commander team.
- Have the role of Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) and ensure ISPS is implemented.
- Responsible for spares & material management at site, goods manifesting including dangerous goods.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Logistics, Engineering, or another relevant subject.
- Significant experience in a similar maritime logistics role, ideally within offshore wind.
- Extensive management experience of a warehousing and logistics team.
- Familiar with SAP material handling systems.
