Job Title: Data Protection Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Protection Analyst to join our team at InterQuest Group. As a Data Protection Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with data protection regulations and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance and Governance: Assist in ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures related to GDPR and the Data Governance Framework, and support the Data Protection Officer (DPO) in promoting data security importance.
  • Data Controller Registration: Maintain data controller registrations with the Information Commissioners' Office and manage end-to-end processes for data subject access requests (DSARs).
  • Data Protection Policies: Ensure Data Protection policies and procedures are current, risk-based, and effective, and assist in developing training materials and awareness campaigns.
  • Data Risk Assurance: Develop robust Data Risk Assurance to monitor policy effectiveness, conduct reviews of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIAs), and support the review of data protection clauses in contracts.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in data protection and a strong understanding of GDPR and data governance frameworks.
