Clinical Neuropsychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic Early Supported Discharge (ESD) community rehabilitation team. The successful candidate will work with individuals who have sustained stroke or a functional neurological diagnosis, providing high-quality neuropsychological assessment, psychological interventions, and consultancy to the neuro-rehabilitation service.

• Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments to inform treatment plans and interventions.
• Develop and deliver evidence-based psychological interventions to support individuals with stroke and functional neurological disorders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated care and support.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.

• Doctoral level training in clinical psychology (or equivalent) as recognized by the British Psychological Society.
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist (or eligibility for registration).
• Experience of working with individuals with stroke and functional neurological disorders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This is a full-time position, working within a community-based setting. The successful candidate will be required to travel to various locations across Hertfordshire, using their own vehicle (unless they have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
