Clinical Neuropsychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist with a strong interest in neuropsychology to join our dynamic Early Supported Discharge (ESD) community rehabilitation team. The successful candidate will work with individuals who have sustained stroke or functional neurological diagnoses, providing high-quality neuropsychological assessment, psychological interventions, and consultancy to the neuro-rehabilitation service.

• Collaborate with the senior Clinical Neuropsychologist to provide comprehensive neuropsychological assessment and psychological interventions to patients.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans, taking into account the patient's unique needs and goals.
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide support for families and group-based interventions.
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of the team's strategic plan.

• Doctoral level training in clinical psychology, as recognized by the British Psychological Society.
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist.
• Experience working with patients across the full range of care settings, including community, primary care, outpatient, and inpatient settings.
• Knowledge of relevant theoretical models and psychological interventions relevant to the needs of patients with stroke.
