We are looking for a skilled Teaching Assistant to support children with additional needs in our specialist setting in Chesterfield.

About the Job:
  1. Support children with additional needs to feel safe and supported in their learning environment.
  2. Establish positive relationships and rapport with children who may be vulnerable.
  3. Contribute to social, emotional, and academic development of the children.
  4. Travel between sites and transport children as needed (travel expenses will be covered).
About You:
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a primary setting is essential, especially with children who have additional needs.
  • Personal Qualities: Calm, patient, and empathetic, with the ability to build trust and establish strong relationships.
  • Skills: Understanding of the challenges faced by children with ASD, ADHD, or emotional and behavioural difficulties.
  • Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are necessary for this role.

Estimated Salary: £27,500 per annum
