We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust, supporting young children with developmental delays and special educational needs in our SEN nursery in Lewisham.

Job Description:
We offer a caring and inclusive environment for children with special educational needs, providing personalised support to meet each child's unique needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in the classroom, working closely with the teacher to deliver tailored support and care to our students.
Responsibilities:
- Support young children with SEN in their development, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with the teaching staff to plan and implement sensory activities and developmental exercises that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
- Assist in managing the classroom resources, ensuring that our students have access to the necessary materials and equipment to learn and thrive.
- Monitor and document children's progress, providing regular updates to parents and caregivers on their development.
Requirements:
- Experience working with young children with SEN, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality support and care.
- A patient and nurturing attitude, with the ability to connect with children from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- A clear DBS check, demonstrating your commitment to safeguarding and protecting vulnerable children.
Salary Information:
The estimated salary for this position is £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience. We strive to offer competitive compensation packages that reflect the value we place on our employees' skills and dedication.
