The Bodmin Jail Hotel & Attraction is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to spearhead revenue growth and drive business success. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing proactive sales and marketing strategies, cultivating and sustaining client relationships, and identifying opportunities to maximize visitor numbers and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and the attraction's unique selling points to identify opportunities for growth and revenue maximization.
- Cultivate Client Relationships: Build and nurture strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, travel agencies, and other potential sources of business.
- Drive Revenue Growth: Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional campaigns, special packages, and events to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Prepare and Present Proposals: Develop and present proposals to clients, negotiate contracts, and secure new business.
- Monitor and Analyze Sales Performance: Generate regular sales reports and forecasts, providing management with insights on sales performance and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Experience in Sales: Proven track record of achieving sales goals and targets in the hospitality and tourism industry.
- Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and the attraction's unique selling points to identify opportunities for growth and revenue maximization.
- Excellent Communication and Negotiation Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, negotiate contracts, and present proposals effectively.
