NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Board is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Business Intelligence to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our information, intelligence, and insights strategies to support our integrated care system.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of healthcare innovation, leading the development of our data-driven decision-making culture. You will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our information and research programmes, ensuring that we have the right data and analytics to support our healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement our information, intelligence, and insights strategies to support our integrated care system.
- Lead the development of our data-driven decision-making culture, ensuring that we have the right data and analytics to support our healthcare delivery.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to our information and research programmes.
- Ensure that we have the right data and analytics to support our healthcare delivery, including patient information systems and clinical care processes.
- Collaborate with our senior management team to develop and implement our organisational strategy.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Extensive experience of leading and managing highly visible and sensitive information and research programmes.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
- Experience of working in a healthcare environment, with a strong understanding of patient information systems and clinical care processes.
