About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialty Doctor in Breast Surgery to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (279). As a key member of our Integrated Breast Service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our breast surgery services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in one-stop symptomatic, wound check, and results clinics across Brighton
  • Contribute to the care of in-patients and out-patients clinics at Brighton
  • Theatre assistant - participate in operating lists, independent operating if experience allows, under supervision
  • Administrative duties associated with patient care
  • Teaching BSMS students attending the unit

Requirements
  • Basic medical degree qualification
  • Full GMC Registration with a license to practice
  • Four years post-graduation - foundation year training completed
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience in breast surgery
  • Knowledge and use of evidence-based practice
  • IT skills
  • Breadth of experience in and outside specialty
