Edwardstow Court is a leading provider of care services, dedicated to delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our residents. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team.
About the Role
We are looking for a talented Chef who can lead our kitchen team and develop innovative menus that cater to the diverse needs of our residents. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Managing a small team of chefs and kitchen staff
- Developing and implementing menus that meet the nutritional needs of our residents
- Ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene
- Collaborating with our care team to understand the dietary needs of our residents
- Managing kitchen budgets and inventory effectively
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a care setting
- Knowledge of menu planning for specialist diets
- Leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
