About the Opportunity

Westlakes Recruit is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our team in the South West. This is a permanent position that offers a great work-life balance and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain monthly reporting for the Nuclear Programme, integrated into the RD reporting
  • Manage a tracker list of open points, with regular progress follow-up with clients
  • Identify and manage interfaces between the Nuclear Programme and other sequences
  • Monitor delivery and ensure that the project LOD (via Paladin) and project schedule are up to date
  • Organize progress meetings with NNB and manage interfaces with NNB on all workstreams
  • Manage contractual documentation to support the project manager
  • Examine NNB requests with the support of business services
Requirements
  • Degree in engineering, project management, or a relevant subject
  • Previous experience in project control, including cost control, governance, and reporting
  • Planning and scheduling, interface with document control and delivery
  • Technical knowledge of civil engineering
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to manage numerous interfaces, and a pragmatic approach
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Team player with an open mind and a readiness to work in a multi-cultural context and with multiple stakeholders
