About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Stroke Specialist Lead to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for managing a specialist caseload, using evidence-based practice and client-centered principles to assess, plan, and implement care. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality services to our patients.

Your main duties will include:

  • Managing a specialist caseload, ensuring high-quality patient care and working within a defined specialism.
  • Providing expert advice and support to the multidisciplinary team, contributing to the development and implementation of clinical audit and research activity.
  • Supervising, educating, and developing members of the multidisciplinary team, promoting effective leadership and teamwork.
  • Collaborating with statutory and voluntary services to provide holistic patient care.

About the Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £44,606 - £68,216 per annum, depending on experience. This salary is based on the national NHS Scotland salary scales and includes a range of benefits, including annual leave, public holidays, and access to the NHS Pension Scheme.

About the Location

This role will be based in Coathill Hospital, NHS Scotland. The working pattern for this role will be confirmed by the hiring manager.
