We are looking for a highly skilled Facilities Assistant to join our team at Woodlands Early Learning. As a Facilities Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the upkeep of our premises and ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our staff and children.

About the Job

This is a full-time position, requiring the successful candidate to work 37 hours per week from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. A full driving license and access to a vehicle for travel between our nursery sites are essential.

The salary for this role is £44 per hour, reflecting the importance of this position in maintaining our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out routine maintenance tasks, including gardening and heavy manual labor
  • Maintaining internal properties, including painting, decorating, and repairs
  • Managing stock levels and replenishing supplies as needed

In addition to these key responsibilities, the successful candidate will need to adhere to our safer recruitment policy, which includes completing an application form and undergoing a DBS check.

Requirements
  • Experience in maintenance or a related field: 1 year (preferably)
  • Full driving license: required
