Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Nuclear Safety Engineer to join our collaborative team based in the UK. The successful candidate will support the delivery of technical engineering, safety case, and project management to several major projects within the nuclear power generation sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of major safety cases, providing specialist technical input and advice to resolve complex problems.
  • Facilitate hazard identification and optioneering workshops, producing formal technical reports, safety cases, and other project deliverables on time and to budget.
  • Implement modifications to plant, including undertaking plant obsolescence assessments, authoring specifications for new equipment, and reviewing design proposals and producing design substantiation reports.
  • Support plant operability, including condition monitoring and identification of plant faults, supporting equipment reliability reviews, and reviewing maintenance routines/strategy.
  • Manage projects, project teams, and interface with clients, providing strong analytical and logical skills, clear communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team and independently.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with work management processes and industry transferable experience.
  • A drive to ensure successful delivery and continuous client satisfaction by delivering pragmatic and proportionate solutions.

  • The ability to travel within the UK and work in a fast-paced environment.
