Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Voyage Care in West Bromwich. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, epilepsy, and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with varying needs
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
  • Encourage independence and participation in activities, such as socializing, hobbies, and community engagement
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, as required

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, epilepsy, and complex needs
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies
  • DBS clearance and references
