Experienced SEN Teaching Professional Wanted for PMLD Students

A Special Needs School in south London is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team and work with students with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), as well as those with ASD and severe learning disorders.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity for an experienced SEN Teacher or Early Career Teacher (ECT) to work in a combined role as a Teaching Assistant and Cover Teacher, delivering pre-planned work. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PMLD and be able to provide support to students with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Work with PMLD students and those with ASD and severe learning disorders
- Deliver pre-planned work as part of the cover teacher role
Rikama Education provides ongoing training and professional development opportunities, ensuring that candidates remain up-to-date with best practices in special educational needs. A dedicated consultant will also be assigned to support the successful candidate throughout their placement.
