We are seeking an experienced and skilled Pub Operations Manager to join our team at Heartwood Inns.

As a leading collection of cosy pubs and atmospheric brasseries, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing high-end gastro pubs or restaurants, with a minimum of 2 years' experience as a General Manager. They will possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, be a real team player, and thrive on motivating and empowering their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the pub, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards across all areas of the business.
  • Lead and motivate a large team, empowering them to deliver outstanding results and achieve their full potential.
  • Develop and implement business growth strategies, driving revenue and improving profitability.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, manage budgets, and make informed decisions to optimize performance.
  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and stakeholders, building a positive reputation for the business.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager in a high-end gastro pub or restaurant.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and empower teams.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and make informed decisions.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
